Wire mesh demisters are consisting of pads with compressed meshes that have high efficiency and a vapor stream containing liquid droplets passes through them, contacting the surface of demister pads causing droplets to coalesce and separate from vapor phase. The pad thickness and type, are selected based on fluid flow rate, its physical properties and required efficiency.
